Re-check and aftercare

Tympanometry to confirm the eardrum is moving correctly, then clear advice on preventing build-up. You leave hearing again.

Every procedure is carried out by an HCPC-registered audiologist in a purpose-built clinical room — not a rented pharmacy back-room — using single-use instruments and ENT-grade endoscopes.

If your symptoms turn out not to be wax, on-site tympanometry helps identify middle-ear causes and we arrange referral to your GP or ENT.

Can I really be seen today?

Most patients can. Online slots update live, and if nothing suits, call us in the morning — we run four to five microsuction clinics a day and try hard to fit same-day patients in.
No. We work under a surgical endoscope, so drops are not required beforehand. If your audiologist thinks drops would help afterwards, they will advise and rebook you free of charge.
You pay the £20 consultation fee only. We will still assess your ears, run a tympanometry check if needed, and arrange a GP or ENT referral if something else is causing your symptoms.
No. It is a dry procedure carried out under direct endoscopic vision and typically takes 10–20 minutes. Most patients describe it as noisy rather than uncomfortable.
Childrens ear wax removal is a specialised procedure only conducted by our experienced audiologists. The ear canal has a reduced diameter and as such requires a significant level of experience to remove ear wax safely and effectively
Home visits from £80 are available in selected areas for housebound patients or those with reduced mobility, using the same equipment and infection-control procedures as in clinic.
