Ear Wax Removal Jobs: Why Work With Us

Our current Ear Care Specialist role is at our Solihull clinic. We book longer appointment slots than most clinics, because rushing ear care is how people get hurt. As a result, you have time to do each procedure properly, with modern equipment and a small, supportive team. The role also offers a competitive hourly rate, reviewed annually, as well as funded training and certification for the right candidate.

What Our Ear Care Specialists Do

  • Carry out ear examinations using otoscopy and video otoscopy
  • Remove wax by microsuction, irrigation and manual instrumentation
  • Identify contraindications and conditions that need onward referral
  • Keep clear, accurate clinical records for every appointment
  • Explain findings and aftercare to patients in plain language

Who We’re Looking For

Ideally, you hold a recognised ear care or microsuction qualification. However, we also welcome applicants with a registered healthcare background, such as nurses, audiologists, paramedics or HCAs, who are willing to train. Good communication matters too, because many of our patients are elderly or anxious. You will also need the right to work in the UK and a current DBS check, or be willing to obtain one.
